Our Mission

The NNFA is at the heart of a growing, vital industry committed to health, well-being, and a sustainable environment. Founded in 1936, NNFA promotes and protects the unique values and shared interests of retailers and suppliers in the nutritional foods and natural products industry.

Our Profile

The National Nutritional Foods Association Northwest Region (NNFA-NW) is a chartered region of a national non-profit trade association dedicated to protecting and advancing the natural products industry for both retailers and suppliers.

Members of NNFA join forces with more than 4000 other retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors of natural products whose views and collective voice contribute directly to the industry's strength and effectiveness.

The most important benefit of membership in NNFA is the legislative and regulatory protection that it supports. The association's powerful lobbying presence in Washington D.C. works to protect and advance the common goals of the natural products industry and give voice to the interests of all members. NNFA closely monitors state legislative and regulatory activities and protects members from discretionary enforcement and product seizures. In addition, the association has launched the Natural Health Action Team, a powerful grassroots lobbying effort working at the national and regional level.
